To be eligible for funding, an organisation must be non-government, not-for-profit, incorporated under the Associations Incorporation Act 1985 and have a registered Australian Business Number (ABN). In addition, the organisation must provide social welfare and help for disadvantaged individuals, families or communities in need in South Australia.
A local council can apply on behalf of a separately managed community group for the group to deliver a project.
Fund My Community is offering grants of between $10,000 and $100,000 (plus GST) for community organisations to deliver projects that will measurably improve the wellbeing of people who experience unequal access to resources, services or opportunities. The community will be involved in deciding what projects receive funding.
